This natural oil is rare and quite precious in nature that originates in North Eastern states of India.

How is Agarwood Oil Produced?

Producing superior quality Oud oil has become difficult in the modern era. When the wood of Agar tree turn out to be infected with a specific category of mould, the tree acts in response by producing a scented, dark resin/gum which is commonly termed as liquid gold.

The most imperative thing to consider while taking out this essential oil is to make certain that the mould injected in the tree is at least 8 years to 12 years old. Steam distillation is used to extract the oil. At the initial stage, the Agarwood is absorbed in water for certain months, and later the water-logged wood is put on big boilers where H2O vaporises alongside with the gum and is put together in a condenser.
